With more than four million members and supporters, NWF publishes four magazines with a combined circulation of 2.5 million.

Destination Cinema is the largest owner and operator of large-format theatres in the world and producer of several critically acclaimed large-format films including: "Grand Canyon: The Hidden Secrets," and "Mysteries of Egypt."
Zephyr Productions
Zephyr Productions was founded to draw corporate, private and non-profit concerns together to produce both educational and entertaining media programs. "Whales" marks the company's first large-format venture.
Christopher Palmer, Co-Producer
Currently President and CEO of National Wildlife Productions, a subsidiary of the National Wildlife Federation. Palmer created the "World of Audubon" television specials which aired on PBS and TBS for ten years.
Roger Payne, Ph.D., Co-Director
World renowned whale scientist, Dr. Payne co-discovered the songs of the humpback whales. He is president of the Whale Conservation Institute and a MacArthur Fellow.

James was previously president and CEO of Destination Cinema, Inc, president of Cinema Group, Inc., and west coast controller for CBS Television Network. His extensive large-format film experience includes: "Grand Canyon: The Hidden Secrets", "Hidden Hawaii," and "Yellowstone."

Leighton Taylor, Ph.D., Co-Writer and Director of Educational Materials
A noted marine biologist and author, Dr. Taylor has devoted his talent to bringing the underwater world to students. He has developed a myriad of award-winning teaching materials and consults to many of the world's foremost aquaria.
Al Giddings, Co-Director and Director of Photography
With over 25 years of experience shooting underwater films from the north pole to Antarctica, Giddings has won numerous awards for his production, direction and cinematography skills. His feature films include "The Abyss," "The Deep," and "Titanic," as well as the Emmy award-winning television special "Mysteries of the Sea."
